John W. Scales III, Fuel Management Consultant for American Fueling Systems, consults with our customers to develop solutions that help reduce fuel costs by creating efficiencies that improve their operations. Mr. Scales is responsible for analyzing strategies and developing successful project plans throughout the country for the use of alternative fuels such as CNG and LNG. He helps deliver the most comprehensive financial models for customers in the transportation and energy industries.
Before joining the AFS team, Mr. Scales used his logistics experience to help numerous Fortune 500 companies and municipalities capitalize on their best rate of return for fuel utilization and distribution services. Mr. Scales has significant experience in the energy and transportation sectors successfully brokering commodities, freight and fuel distribution for a majority of the top 25 fleet companies in the country.
Mr. Scales is from Atlanta, Georgia and joins AFS with a B.S. in Business Administration and International Marketing from Hampton University. He received a certificate in Supply Chain and Warehousing Operations from Georgia Tech Supply Chain & Logistics Institute. Throughout his career Mr. Scales has worked in a variety of industries throughout the United States, bringing a multi-faceted viewpoint to AFS and serves as a value business partner to his customers.
